Elephant Fist Kung Fu
The style of kung fu played by the Fei Lung Kwan is called 'Jern Ying Chuan Fat'. This loosely translated means Elephant fist, it is a central style accentuated towards northern shaolin, with the emphasis placed on very heavy and hard training.
The first records of this style are to be found in the notes of the famous historian Ssu-Ma Chien. This historian lived during the first century BC and was one of the recorders for the Emperor Han Wu Ti, who had ordered the reconstruction of earlier dynasties. The head of the style was a man named Li Chang Yu, who held office in the court of the king.
